The Native Plant Master Program from CSU Extension is offering two 3-class field courses at Deer Creek Canyon Park!
Deer Creek Canyon is dominated by Gambel oak forests and foothills meadows. Learn about Colorado wildflowers, trees and shrubs as you explore trails this natural area. During 3 outdoor field sessions, you will learn common and scientific names, ecological relationships and human uses of 40 — 50 plants, emphasizing on native useful for landscaping and invasives that threaten ecosystems.
Monday 5/14, Monday 5/21, and Friday 5/25, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Saturdays 6/9, 6/16, and 6/23, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
