This workshop is part of the Message to Our Mothers | Mensaje a Nuestras Madres project exploring substance use in families through storytelling and art. This workshop is being taught by M2M commissioned artist Sandy Caes.
How we are viewed in the world's affects how we view ourselves, and vice versa. Internalizing who we are can be destructive or productive. Taking charge of our personas, personality and position in life is critical to self-awareness and success.
This workshop is a safe place for storytelling and art making to explore visions of who we are and how choice can play a part in the outcomes of our lives. In community we can challenge societal norms and empower one another towards liberating perceptions.
