Jazz at the Dairy presents From Peru to Mexico. The Dairy is thrilled to welcome back the brilliant Latin guitarist, Alfredo Muro during his Fall tour throughout the US, Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Argentina. Muro is one of the leading Latin guitarists in the world — he has recorded 6 albums and performed in dozens of guitar festivals around the world. He has performed at prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center, Smithsonian Museum, and has performed a private concert for Pope John II. His programming highlights his love for the music and performs it with great sensitivity and emotion. Performing with Muro on this concert will be cellist James Bailey, former Music Curator at the Dairy. Having performed as a duo for the last 3 years, they were most recently invited to perform at the San Miguel de Allende Chamber Music Festival. This is a concert of exuberant, passionate Latin music featuring music from Peru to Mexico — a night of music to remember!
