Vertical Fusion is interested in documenting for promotional and other purposes, the pole dance journey of someone who has never done pole dance before. The ideal candidate is someone who has been intrigued by pole dance as a dance fitness program but has never taken a class or lesson, formally or informally, including self-taught. Selected participant(s) may be male or female, must be at least 18 years old, must be willing to attend at least 2 classes per week, and must be willing to invest the required time and energy into this program. *Selected participant(s) will get one year of classes FREE! You will be recorded/photographed during classes/lessons and you will be expected to be interviewed on a regular basis.
Only individuals who have NEVER done pole dance classes or otherwise are eligible. Must be 18 years old or older. There are no weight/size or ability limitations. Candidates must certify that they are in good health and able to participate (must sign medical certification indicating you are in good health, not pregnant or plan to become pregnant, and cleared medically to participate). Candidates must sign a liability waiver holding Vertical Fusion harmless in the event of injury/damages/death. Must sign a media release allowing Vertical Fusion to publish all media (photo, video, audio, etc). Must sign copyright/ownership of audio, video, testimonial, photographic and other recordings to Vertical Fusion. All participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement. A one-year contract is required to be signed and a $250 admin fee must be paid to Vertical Fusion before starting this program to ensure full commitment for the year. The admin fee will be forfeited if the 1-year commitment is not fulfilled. If the 1-year commitment is fulfilled, the $250 admin fee will be refunded at the end of the year. All classes must be attended at the Vertical Fusion Boulder location. All participants are required to have social media accounts and are required to make posts according to the quota set forth in the contract. Participants will have an in-person orientation with studio owner, Melanie, in early September and class participation will commence the week of September 17. In instances of illnesses, travel or other short periods of unavailability, alternative arrangements will be made for pole training. If you anticipate having to miss more than two months combined, please do not apply.
