In honor and celebration of Yogi Bhajan's birthday, we will lead a morning practice of chanting 2.5 hours of Morning Call also known as the Adi Shakti mantra or Long Ek Ong Kars. This meditation balances and energizes all of the chakras, connects the soul to the Soul of the Universe and liberates the practitioner from the cycles of karma. Practice will begin with recitation of Japji Sahib, a Sikh poem written by Guru Nanak followed by a brief warm-up set prepare the body to sit. Then we will chant Ek Ong Kar Sat Nam Siri Wahe Guru for two and a half hours. All are welcome. Sadhana is always free. No experience necessary. If you get tired or need to rest during the meditation you are always welcome to lay down and relax.
