DUST STOMPERS are a five-piece Americana Fusion band based out of Denver, Colorado. Delving into the musical traditions of several generations they have mashed together bluegrass, country, blues, soul, funk, and good ol' rock and roll into a brew of audible bliss. Their high energy shows, edgy songwriting, and unmistakable swagger on stage are guaranteed to please the senses.
BABYWOOD HATBOX is an American cover band from Denver, Colorado offering tribute to the founding European and African roots which contribute(d) to the sound, lifestyles and pedagogy in American music. Colorful time signatures, a fresh approach and a slew of influences create our unique sound while the band remains loyal to the artistic, comedic and political foundations that drive our culture. Jimmy Curtis, Mitchell Ryan/El Huracan & Jen Fagan Archer met in early 2010 when they were booked together for a Noodle Soup/Gristle Gals concert at Denver's historic Bluebird Theatre. All three members have identified as performing artists for the better part of their lives. Mitch & Jimmy have collaborated on several projects spanning 20 years, while Jen & Mitch started singing together in late 2010. Jen & Jimmy have been performing as a duo since early 2013 and the trio debuted as BabyWood HatBox at the 2013 Black Mountain Music Festival.
