It’s been months since the Colorado Court of Appeals ruled in favor of six youth plaintiffs and decided that health and safety of Coloradans must be prioritized when it comes to fracking.
Instead of following the rule of law, the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) is appealing the decision, and proceeding with business as usual despite the extreme hazards that fracking presents, including two deadly oil & gas explosions since the ruling was made.
At their next public hearing, we'll demand that the COGCC:
— STOP THE APPEAL to the Martinez decision that sets a precedent for protecting health & safety over fracking!
— RESCIND ALL PERMITS that have been issued since the court of appeals decision
— STOP ISSUING ILLEGAL PERMITS that ignore the law as interpreted by the court of appeals
We can not let the COGCC get away with ignoring impacts to our health, safety and well-being! Please join us at the meeting to show unified support for our rights over the o&g industry:
What: COGCC Meeting — Stand up for health & safety!

Where: The Chancery Building 1120 Lincoln Street, Suite 801
