Comal is launching a series of cooking classes dubbed “A Taste of Southern Mexico,” exploring different topics within Latino-heritage cooking every Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Join us on a August 9 to learn how to make ceviche — seafood, meat and/or veggies in citrus juice.
Classes will be led by chef Marysola Menendez, a native of Chipas, Mexico, who learned to cook from her grandmother and mother and has more than 15 years of restaurant industry experience.
At each class, students will learn to prepare a variety of tapas (small plates), sides, appetizers and entrees, and will take home a prepared dish and a copy of the recipes used.
