Comal Heritage Food Incubator
3455 Ringsby Court #105, Denver, Colorado 80216
Comal is launching a series of cooking classes — A Taste of Southern Mexico — exploring different topics within Latino-heritage cooking every Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Join us on Wednesday, September 6 to learn to cook Chiles en Nogada (stuffed poblano peppers in a sweet sauce).
Classes will be led by chef Marysola Menendez, a native of Chipas, Mexico, who learned to cook from her grandmother and mother and has more than 15 years of restaurant industry experience.
At each class, students will learn to prepare a variety of tapas (small plates), sides, appetizers and entrees, and will take home a prepared dish and a copy of the recipes used.
Tickets are limited and cost $35 per person. For special inquiries and additional information, call 303-292-0770.
